Effective January 1, 2019

Ground Burial Spaces in all Sections, Spaces A B C D E F are $1,500 each.

One (1) Burial Space for two (2) burials is $2,000 ($1,500 plus $500 for second burial). This can be one regular burial and one cremation in the same space or two cremations in the same space.

Urn Vaults are available for purchase at $100 each.

Pleasant Valley can open/close a ground cremation site for $150 for burial of an urn and $200 for the burial of an urn vault.

Columbarium Niches

  • First Row (Bottom): $1,100
  • Second Row(s): $1,400
  • Third Row (Top): $1,700

Prices include opening/closing and an allowance of $135 for up to four (4) lines of engraving on the niche door. The font is Roman. Any additional engraving charges will be the responsibility of the owner. Engraving on the niche doors is accomplished through a vendor of the cemetery.

There is an additional $500 charge to inter a second set of cremains in the same niche provided that the niche has not been sealed. The Niche sizes are 11 ¾ x 11 ¾ x 11 ¾. Be aware of urn sizes for double burials in a single niche.

Black ceramic vases for the niche doors are available for purchase at $35 each.

Transfer Fee – $25 any time your deed must be reissued.

Payment in full is due at the time of purchase and can be done by check or credit card. All checks should be made payable to: Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

No pre-payments on any unspecified lot or space; the location must be chosen before payment is accepted. We do allow a maximum of a 60 day hold of spaces for future sale.

All open and close gravesite fees will be payable to the Funeral Home for casket burials. The Cemetery Board will buy back unused spaces or lots if an owner wants to sell them back to the Cemetery Association at one-half value of the owner’s original cost. No spaces to be sold to anyone intending resale.

An Ownership Deed will be mailed within ten (10) business days after payment. The Ownership Deed gives you the right to bury on that site for perpetuity but does not give you ownership of the land. The land always remains in the name of the Cemetery at all times.
